    About this Product

    A 0.5-metre 5-pin DMX cable from LEDJ for short jumps in 5-pin chains, typical of professional moving-head and architectural fixtures that follow the DMX512 standard properly. The shortest practical jumper for fixture-to-fixture patching on a tight rig.

    5-pin XLR, quick context5-pin XLR is the official DMX512 connector defined by USITT, used by professional consoles and many touring fixtures. Pins 1-3 carry the same signal as 3-pin DMX; pins 4-5 are reserved for a secondary data link and are unused on most current fixtures. Use 5-pin throughout if your console and fixtures have 5-pin sockets, don’t mix adapters mid-chain.
