The NEXO DTDIU is a dedicated digital speaker controller in the install-optimised DTD-I form factor, delivering advanced crossover, EQ, time-alignment, and speaker protection processing derived from NEXO’s NXAMP technology. Purpose-built for permanent installations, all connectors (except the mini-USB configuration port) sit on a rear barrier strip, and settings can be locked to prevent accidental changes — making it well suited to venues, houses of worship, and corporate AV environments where the system should stay exactly as the integrator configured it.
All connectors on rear barrier strip — clean, tamper-resistant installation
Lockable settings prevent accidental changes after commissioning
Configuration via PC or Mac over USB — no front-panel controls to interfere with
Speaker processing algorithms derived from NEXO NXAMP technology
Crossover, EQ, time-alignment, and speaker protection in a single unit
Linear Acoustic Phase algorithms — phase-compatible with NEXO PS, LS, and other cabinets
Stereo balanced analogue inputs, AES input, and driverless USB audio playback
Automatic amplifier sensing for streamlined system setup
This is a speaker processor, not an amplifier — it requires external amplification to drive NEXO cabinets. The DTD-I has no front-panel controls; all configuration is performed via the mini-USB port using PC/Mac software. For the Dante-enabled install variant, see the DTDIN.
