Shure SLX-D+ portable plug-on system comprising an SLXD3+ XLR plug-on transmitter and an SLXD5+ portable receiver. The SLXD3+ mounts directly on the XLR output of a dynamic or self-powered condenser microphone (phantom power is not supplied by the transmitter). Operates in the K55 band (606 to 694 MHz). UK Ch38 PMSE plus coordinated UHF. Requires an Ofcom licence; Ch38 (606 to 614 MHz) is covered by the JFMG shared PMSE licence and the upper range requires a coordinated PMSE licence. Designed for converting a wired reporter microphone or boom into a wireless channel for ENG and location work.
