A 1U converter moving 32 channels of analogue audio onto a Dante network and 32 channels back off it, in both directions simultaneously. Analogue I/O is on space-saving 25-pin D-sub connectors for use with breakout looms, which is the only sensible way to get that many channels into one rackspace. Two Ethernet ports support redundant Dante operation across two separate networks.

Redundant Dante and where it belongsThe Primary and Secondary Ethernet ports let the ML-32D run on two physically separate networks at once, so a switch or cable failure on one does not take the audio down. It is worth the extra infrastructure on broadcast, corporate and theatre systems; on a small install a single network is usually the sensible choice. Configuration is done in Audinate’s free Dante Controller.
