The Shure BLX1 is a bodypack transmitter for the Shure BLX analogue UHF wireless system. It is the K3E band variant, supplied without a microphone, and is intended as an add-on or replacement bodypack for an existing BLX4, BLX4R, BLX88 or BLX288 receiver. The TA4F (TQG) input accepts Shure lavalier, headset, earset and instrument microphones as well as the WA302 guitar cable.
Licensing
In the UK, 606 to 613.5 MHz falls under Ofcom’s Channel 38 shared licence; frequencies above 613.5 MHz within the K3E tuning range require a site-specific coordinated PMSE licence from Ofcom. Operators must hold the appropriate licence before use.
