About Wireless Bodypack Transmitters

Bodypack transmitters for lavalier, headset and instrument sources across Sennheiser’s XSW, evolution G4, EW-D, EW-DX, AVX and SpeechLine families and Shure’s BLX and SLX-D ranges, with Audio Technica packs alongside. GB-band and Channel 38 variants appear throughout the range for UK use.

Band code first, always: a bodypack only works with a receiver on the same frequency variant, so match the code in brackets, GB, S1-7, K55 and so on, to your existing hardware before comparing anything else. Then check the audio input, since it determines which microphones plug in: Sennheiser packs use 3.5mm locking jacks or 3-pin LEMO depending on family, Shure uses TA4F, and adapting between standards is a compromise best avoided. Consider the power arrangement too: AA-powered packs are simple to support in rental fleets, while the rechargeable-pack families cut battery spend for venues and daily users. Instrument players should look for packs with dedicated instrument cables or high-impedance inputs rather than pressing a lavalier input into service.

Matching microphones live in body worn microphones, and the receiving half of the system is in the receivers subcategory.
