The Neutrik etherCON NE8MX6-B-T is a ruggedised CAT6A etherCON self-termination cable connector, supplied with its own CAT6A RJ45 plug, in the version for thin wire insulation of 1.1 mm or less (cable 7 to 9.5 mm). Built around the CAT6A-rated NE8MX6 platform in a black finish, it protects the RJ45 inside a metal shell and adds the etherCON push-pull lock for reliable network and audio-over-IP links on stage and on the road.
How it worksThis is a self-termination cable connector: a CAT6A RJ45 plug is included and you terminate it onto your own cable with wire insulation of 1.1 mm or less. It is not a carrier for pre-made patch leads. It mates with etherCON panel connectors (NE8FDX / NE8FDP series) and also plugs into a standard RJ45 socket.
