The Neutrik etherCON NE8MX6 is a ruggedised CAT6A etherCON self-termination cable connector, supplied with its own CAT6A RJ45 plug for 7 to 9.5 mm cable (wire insulation over 1.1 mm), in a nickel-plated shell. Rated for CAT6A performance, it houses the RJ45 inside a metal shell and adds the etherCON push-pull lock – the go-to choice for reliable Ethernet and audio-over-IP links on stage, in racks and out on tour.
How it worksThis is a self-termination cable connector: a CAT6A RJ45 plug is included and you terminate it onto your own cable (AWG 24 to 22, solid or stranded). It is not a carrier for pre-made patch leads. It mates with etherCON panel connectors (NE8FDX / NE8FDP series) and also plugs into a standard RJ45 socket.
