D’Addario, Evans and ProMark Now in Stock

We’ve taken on D’Addario, and with it the rest of the family: Evans drumheads, ProMark sticks and PureSound snare wires. That comes to 120 products, and all of them are on the shelf now.

It’s a bit of a departure for us. Most of what we sell ends up in a venue, a rig or an install, but the people running that kit tend to play as well, and we were being asked for strings and heads on the same orders as mics and cable. Now they can go in one basket.

Guitar and bass strings

We’ve started with the sets people actually buy. XL Nickel electric sets come in 9s, 10s and 11s, and most gauges are available as a three pack, a ten pack or both. The EXL110 10-46 three pack is £17.99, and there’s a 25 set bulk box of EXL110 at £127.99 for teachers, schools and anyone else who gets through a lot of them.

For something tougher, NYXL 10-46 is £35.99 for three sets. Acoustic players have Phosphor Bronze EJ16 12-53 and the lighter EJ26 and EJ15, and bassists get XL Nickel long scale sets including the EXL170-5 five string.

Drumheads, damping and snare wires

The Evans range covers the heads most kits need: G1, G2, EC2S, UV1, HD Dry and EMAD. For a 14 inch snare, the G1 Coated is £19.99 and the HD Dry is £23.99. If you’re doing all the toms at once, the G2 Coated Rock Pack (10, 12 and 16 inch) is £50.99. On the kick, the EMAD2 22 inch is £65.99.

We’ve also got the smaller bits that make a kit sound right: EQ Pods, E-Rings, bass drum patches and the torque key. The PureSound snare wires start with the Blaster 20 strand at £25.99.

Sticks

ProMark Classic Forward hickory sticks come in 5A, 5B, 7A and 2B, each as a four pair pack for £38.99. There are Rebound FireGrain packs too, plus Hot Rods for the acoustic gig where the drummer has been told to keep it down.

Gig bag bits
