Which one?

Mostly it comes down to licensing.

The ATW-2110C and ATW-2120C are from AT’s 2000 Series and work on Channel 38. That gives you plenty of clean spectrum, but you need an Ofcom licence to use it. If you already hold one, or you’re a venue or school that uses a lot of wireless, these are the pick. The 2120C comes with a handheld mic, and the 2110C is a bodypack system with no mic included, so you can add the lavalier or headset you prefer.

The AT-One systems, the ATW-13 handheld and ATW-11 bodypack, run on Channel 70 and are licence free. They’re ideal for a function band, a church or a conference room that needs one or two good mics without any paperwork.

The ATW-1101 from System 10 is digital and works at 2.4GHz, so it’s licence free too and doesn’t care where in the country you use it. Like the 2110C, it comes without a mic.

If you want to understand the licensing properly, our guide to Channel 38, Channel 70 and Ofcom explains it in plain English. The wireless microphone buying guide covers the rest.
