About Table Top Transmitters

Wireless boundary and gooseneck-base transmitters for meeting tables where cabling is not an option: Shure’s ULX-D family with the ULXD6 boundary microphone in cardioid and omni versions and the ULXD8 gooseneck base, both in black or white, plus Sennheiser’s SpeechLine SL 114-S boundary transmitter and the EW-DX TS gooseneck table stand.

These units replace cabled boundary and gooseneck mics in rooms where the table cannot be drilled or the layout changes weekly. The base transmitters take a separate gooseneck microphone, so budget for the stem itself and check connector compatibility, the EW-DX TS takes 3-pin goosenecks, rather than assuming one is included. Pattern choice follows normal boundary logic: cardioid aimed at a talker position, omnidirectional for group pickup around the unit. Because these are battery devices doing a daily job, the charging workflow matters as much as the audio: plan docking or charging provision into the room design rather than leaving flat batteries to interrupt a board meeting. White versions disappear on light boardroom tables.

The matching receivers and charging hardware are in the receivers and accessories subcategories, and we can advise on pairing them with ceiling systems.
