Sets marked CH38 sit inside the UK’s Channel 38 allocation, usable under an Ofcom shared licence; Sennheiser’s GB variants include Channel 38 but extend beyond it, and frequencies outside the shared allocation need a coordinated licence. Then decide on earphones: several PSM 300 packages exclude them, which suits engineers who already own custom moulds or prefer a specific driver. Twin and dual sets share one transmit frequency between two performers hearing the same mix, an economical route for backline players, though anyone needing an individual mix needs their own channel. Premium variants add receiver frequency scanning, worth having on multi-system rigs.
