Evolution Wireless Digital (EW-D) is Sennheiser’s entry digital UHF platform, using a 56 MHz tuning range, equidistant frequency grid and 134 dB transmitter dynamic range for gain-structure-free operation. The Smart Assist app handles setup over Bluetooth Low Energy. This is the EW-D bodypack transmitter supplied as a standalone unit for adding a channel to an existing system. Band variant: S1-7, 606.2 – 662 MHz (UK CH38). Requires an Ofcom shared PMSE licence in the UK.
