The Shure BETA 98AD/C is a miniature cardioid condenser drum microphone supplied with the A98D gooseneck rim mount, the clamp-and-forget tom and snare mic that lives on the drum, not a stand. The 12-gram capsule takes 150dB+ SPL through its in-line preamp, with the 20Hz-20kHz response that puts condenser detail on shells where dynamics usually go.
