    About this Product

The Shure BETA 98H/C is a miniature cardioid condenser that clamps to the bell of a brass or wind instrument or a drum rim, with an integrated gooseneck and ratcheting swivel to hold position through energetic playing. This is the wired version: the attached high-flex cable terminates in the RPM626 inline preamp with XLR output. At 155 dB max SPL it takes trumpet and snare at point-blank range without complaint.

Clip-on cardioid condenser for brass, wind and drums
Handles 155 dB max SPL at point-blank range
    Integrated gooseneck with ratcheting swivel
Isolation shock-mount cuts key and shell noise
    Gooseneck angle brace holds position
    RPM626 inline XLR preamp included
Carry bag and snap-fit windscreen included
NoteFor Shure wireless bodypacks, see the WB98H/C – same capsule with a TA4F connector.

    Frequently Asked Questions

We’re a working touring and events production company founded in 2019 by sound engineers with many years of experience.

We’re very selective about the products we sell. Everything we supply we use ourselves on our tours, events and productions. This means we can offer a level of buying advice and aftersales support that can’t be beaten.

We’re official dealers of brands such as Allen & Heath, Audio Technica and sE Electronics. We also stock other leading brands including Shure, Sennheiser, Martin Audio and Chauvet Professional.

We accept Debit & Credit Cards, Apple Pay, Android Pay and Paypal. We also offer finance through Paypal Credit and Klarna.

Business Customers can choose to receive a Proforma Invoice on checkout to pay by bank transfer.

The quickest way to contact us for advice and support is through WhatsApp or Email.

We're an AV production company as well as a retailer. Sharing staff and premises between the two allows us to keep our costs down.

As AV Engineers ourselves, our mission is to provide high quality equipment to other AV Professionals at reasonable prices.
