Nineteen-pin multipin connectors for lighting power multicore: the Elumen8 Socapex range covers line plugs and sockets with entries sized for 1.5mm² and 2.5mm² six-circuit cable, panel-mount sockets, numbered-contact versions and coloured coupling rings for run identification.

The 19-pin format carries six circuits down a single multicore, which is why it remains the standard way to feed dimmed and switched lighting bars. Match the connector to the cable first: the entry and clamp sizes here are specified for particular core sizes and outside diameters, and a multicore clamped at the wrong size will work loose on the road. Numbered contacts speed up fault-finding and make consistent wiring easier across a stock of multicores. The coloured coupling rings look like an afterthought but are genuinely useful, letting crews identify individual runs on a loaded truss at a glance. Panel sockets suit distro builds and dimmer patch panels.
