About Rigging Hardware

Load-rated steels and rigging accessories for hanging PA, the hardware layer between the array grid and whatever it flies from. The ELLER rigging steel carries a 2000kg working load limit on a 0.5m working length of 14mm flexible wire rope, manufactured to EN 12385-4 with a PVC sleeve, a tapered ferrule with inspection eye and a colour coded thimble that identifies the length at a glance; the thimble is sized to take a 4.75 tonne bow shackle. Steels do a simple job with no margin for guesswork: the WLL of the weakest component defines the whole suspension, so buy to the lengths the hang actually needs and retire anything with crushed strands, kinks or illegible tags. As with all lifting kit in UK production work, LOLER applies, so inspection records matter as much as the hardware itself.

Around the steels sit the pieces that keep a hang tidy. The ELLER chain bag holds up to 12m of hoist chain, rated at 250kg WLL up to 12m and 500kg up to 10m, with a suspension strap, spring loaded hook and rigid base. LEDJ Spannfix and Spannflex elastic tensioners strap cables and soft goods to truss with adjustable, reusable clamp-lock fasteners in 4mm, 5mm and 6mm cord sizes, and LEDJ HoldOn clips grip drapes and banners up to 5mm thick, rated to hold up to 100kg, with a release latch eyelet for repositioning. The Global Truss truss tool sits in the Tools subcategory for assembly and de-rig work, while array-specific grids and bars live one level up in the rigging category.
