About Wall Plates

Install-grade wall points for venue lighting control, covering LEDJ’s Visio FLEXICON wall-mounted DMX controller with its back box, plus the Universal Back Box for surface-mounted positions.

The FLEXICON puts control of RGB or RGBW fixtures on a single-gang plate, simple enough for bar staff and duty managers rather than a technician: a dipswitch sets three or four channel DMX output at installation, two rotary controls handle colour and speed or dimming, modes cover static colour, speed-adjustable fade and sound-active chase via a built-in microphone, and two memory buttons store scenes, with a tri-colour LED mimicking the live output. It runs on 12V DC, so plan the supply alongside the first fix, get the back box into the wall before decoration, and run proper DMX cable to the position. For splitters, processors and wireless links behind an installed control point, see the rest of the Distribution category.

Lighting Wall Plate FAQs

What does the FLEXICON give a venue? RGB/RGBW control on a single-gang wall position, colours and scenes for staff without a console, with back boxes for flush or surface mounting.

Wall plate or console? Both: the plate runs the everyday looks; a console takes over for events. Architectural control basics live in the LED tape guide.
