About Passive Constant Curvature Arrays Constant Curvature Arrays
Passive array elements for constant curvature systems, represented here by the NEXO GEO M620 in white, a compact box from the GEO M6 series built around a 6.5 inch long-excursion LF driver and a 1 inch throat HF driver on NEXO’s HRW waveguide. Each element covers 20 degrees vertically with horizontal dispersion of 80 or 120 degrees, delivers 127dB peak SPL from an 80Hz to 19kHz response, and weighs under 10kg with a fully integrated three-point rigging system, so arcs and short hangs go up quickly without heavy motors.
Passive boxes keep weight and cost per cabinet down and centralise electronics in the amp rack, but they only perform as designed with NEXO’s amplification and processing, so plan an NXAMP controller alongside the cabinets rather than as an afterthought. The white finish suits installs, houses of worship and conference spaces where the system should disappear against the architecture.
Array Element FAQs
What is the GEO M620? A compact constant-curvature element, 6.5″ LF and 1″ HF on NEXO’s HRW waveguide, here in white for architectural installs. Elements build arcs of predictable coverage per the series’ fixed splays.
What drives GEO M6? NEXO processing and amplification, the platform logic is in the NEXO guide.
