Driver size is the first decision: an 8-inch box like the CDD-LIVE 8 suits front fill, delay and speech duties, while the 12-inch and 15-inch models carry full-band programme in rooms of a few hundred people. The CDD-LIVE series uses Martin Audio’s Coaxial Differential Dispersion approach to keep coverage consistent close to and far from the box, while the Blackline XP models put 1300W of amplification behind a straightforward two-way design. Check pole-mount and rigging options against how you actually deploy, and plan mains distribution early, since every cabinet needs power as well as signal.
