The C and M split in the Linea Research catalogue is the first thing to understand: C series units are aimed at fixed installation while M series models are built for touring and portable racks, and both carry loudspeaker processing on every channel. NEXO’s NXAMP platform is different, pairing amplification with NEXO’s own controller presets, and it is the correct drive for NEXO cabinets rather than a generic alternative. Across the category, weigh channel count against per-channel power, confirm the input formats you need across Dante, AES and analogue, and remember that a DSP amplifier replaces a separate system processor in most designs, which changes the budget comparison. Networked control also matters at scale; dedicated system controllers such as the NSC series manage larger amplifier fleets.
