Licence-free UK operation
The whole system runs on 863-865MHz within Channel 70, licence-exempt in the UK – no Ofcom licence needed for events of any size. Transmitters reach up to 200m in low power mode and 400m+ in high power mode, and there is no limit to how many headphones each transmitter serves.

Note
The two 20-way chargers charge 40 headphones at a time – a full 100-headphone fleet charges in rotation (around 3 hours per batch of 40). Hire operations running back-to-back events may want an additional SDPROMC charger.
